Notice of Flag Lowering - Perth County Honours the Passing of Former Council Member Fred Knechtel
It is with sadness that Perth County has learned of the passing of former County Council Member Fred Knechtel. Fred served as Reeve of Ellice Township and as a member of Perth County Council.
Fred took great pride in his community and was committed to municipal service. His contributions to local government and his dedication to the community will be remembered.
The County extends its heartfelt condolences to Fred’s family and friends at this difficult time. In honour of his life and service to Perth County, flags will remain lowered at County facilities until the day of his memorial service
