519 Safety

I am a Canadian Registered Safety Professional and, for the past 30 years, I have worked for or with organizations across Canada in multiple sectors, including oil and gas (Imperial Oil, Superior Propane); construction (AGF Access, now BrandSafway), EllisDon, PCL, Aecon)); mining (Vale Inco); utilities (Ontario Power Generation); healthcare (London Health Sciences, St. Josephs Healthcare, Grand River Hospital); and education (Avon Maitland District School Board). Through conversations with entrepreneurs, friends, and my childrens work experiences, it became evident that many small business owners do not know what their health and safety responsibilities or where to look. 519 Safety was founded on the idea that every small business should have affordable access to a health and safety professional to help them protect their business and prevent harm to their employees, so everyone can enjoy their reasons to work.
