FRAME + FIND Wayfinding Signage

Tourism Wayfinding Signage

The FRAME + FIND project will deliver cohesive, modern tourism signage that helps residents and visitors navigate Perth County with ease.  This project is intended to complement, existing municipal, community and provincial signage programs by focusing on Countywide wayfinding, brand consistency, and visitor navigation.

Phase 1 – FRAME: Strategy, Design Guidelines and Location Plan

This phase will culminate in the Perth County Tourism Wayfinding Signage Strategy.  The Strategy will outline comprehensive signage design guidelines, including standards for colour palette, fonts, materials, sizing, accessibility, and visual identity. The Strategy will also include a Location Plan to determine optimal signage placement and establish prioritization criteria that considers existing signage, traffic flows, and visitor behaviours. The Perth County Tourism Wayfinding Signage Strategy will guide second phase of the project – FIND.

Phase 2 – FIND: Signage Fabrication and Installation

This phase includes fabrication and installation of an initial rollout of roadside and pedestrian signage, based on priority locations and the guidelines established in Phase 1. The signage will guide visitors to rural downtowns, businesses, attractions, and tourism amenities.
