The County of Perth and its lower-tier municipalities work in partnership to provide effective quality services to residents, businesses and visitors, fostering strong communities across the County. The four lower-tier municipalities are the Municipality of North Perth, the Township of Perth East, the Township of Perth South and the Municipality of West Perth.
The City of Stratford and the Town of St. Marys operate under their own municipal governments that are independent from the County's government.
