Discover More Adventures - Experiential Tourism Program |
CLICK HERE to sign up for the Discover More Adventures program using a simple online form. This program helps Perth County businesses expertly enhance and market their offerings. Participating businesses will receive a product enhancement and marketing package valued at $10,000, including training sessions, expert guidance, professional photography/videography, paid advertising, marketing materials, and more. Government of Ontario support programs - Click here ** New January 7th, 2022 - Ontario COVID-19 Small Business Relief Grant - Eligible businesses subject to closures as a result of the province’s move to the modified Step Two of the Roadmap to Reopen can receive a grant of $10,000. Click here **
** New January 18th, 2022 - Ontario Business Costs Rebate Program Applications - Eligible businesses that are required to close or reduce capacity will receive rebate payments for a portion of the property tax and energy costs they incur while subject to these measures. Eligible businesses required to reduce capacity to 50 per cent, such as smaller retail stores, will receive a rebate payment equivalent to 50 per cent of their costs, while businesses required to close for indoor activities, such as restaurants and gyms, will receive a rebate payment equivalent to 100 per cent of their costs. Mental Wellness for Small Business Owners & Entrepreneurs |
The uncertainty, business closure, job loss and financial stresses brought on by COVID-19 can impact the mental health and wellness of our small business owners very hard. In an effort to help, the Perth Community Futures Development Corporation, the Stratford Perth Community Foundation, the Stratford-Perth Centre for Business, and local businesses, Hyde Construction Ltd. & Orr Insurance & Investment, in partnership with the United Way Perth Huron have funded a program to offer Mental Wellness support at no cost to business owners in the County, Stratford & St. Marys.
