The first roundabout in the Municipality of North Perth is located at the intersection of Mitchell Rd. S. (HWY 23) and Perth Line 86 (Main St. W.) in Listowel. The roundabout is single-lane but is wide enough to accommodate large vehicles, such as transport trucks, farm equipment and snow plows.
A roundabout is a circular intersection in which vehicles drive counter clockwise around a centre island. Vehicles entering the roundabout yield to vehicles already in the circle then enter the roundabout and exit at their desired roadway.
