Perth County Paramedics routinely receive inquiries from grateful citizens on how they can show support and thanks for the job they do in protecting the health and safety of the public. While staff members are thankful for tokens of appreciation, they encourage members of the community to give thanks by "paying it forward". To facilitate this, Perth County Paramedics launched the Community Caring Fund.

Despite medical advice, patients routinely refuse to go to the hospital for required continued treatment due to financial strain

Responding to a call at a house and seeing an empty refrigerator

Realizing that homeless people frequently don't need medical attention- but rather a healthy meal
A community that pays it forward is a community that cares, and our paramedics strive to demonstrate that our community cares.
All donations to the Community Caring Fund are 100% eligible for a charity tax donation receipt.
